Choose the image you need

PocketDraft is a browser editor for still images: app screenshots, device mockups, and social graphics. Start with a real screenshot and choose the canvas size for the destination. An App Store screenshot and a social post often need different layouts.

Build and export a mockup

  1. Open PocketDraft and choose a canvas size or a starting template.
  2. Use Device to add your screenshot, then choose the device frame and adjust its size and position.
  3. Set the background and add a short title with the Text tool. Keep the screenshot large enough to read at the final display size.
  4. Preview the canvas. Check the screen crop, text wrapping, and space around the device. Review each canvas if the project contains several.
  5. Use Export to save a PNG or JPEG. Open the saved image at its actual size and check the dimensions required by the destination before uploading it.

Keep an editable copy

The browser saves the working project locally. Export an editable project copy from the project menu when you need a backup or want to move between browsers. Clearing site data or using a different browser profile can make local projects unavailable.

Connect a local AI agent when needed

The editor can pair with the local pocketdraft-mcp package through Connect MCP. The connected agent can read and change the active project, including the screenshots you provide. Keep the page open for browser rendering and export, and disconnect when finished. Ordinary manual editing does not need MCP.

Common questions

Why does the screenshot look cropped?

Check the selected frame and screen fit, then inspect the canvas preview. Screenshots with a different aspect ratio from the device screen may need a different fit or crop.

Can I edit the PNG later?

A PNG or JPEG is the flattened output. Keep an exported project copy if you want to change individual text, device, or background layers later.
